We use a system called Anima which is an easy and fast way to ask for any kind of help from the practice.
- Available from 8am Monday to Friday (except on bank holidays) and we aim to respond during working hours.
- All requests are triaged by our acute clinical team which consists of Dr Rehaan Ansari, Dr TiJesu Adeoye and, Tony Madden (Acute Care Practitioner). The team will determine the best next steps for your medical concern and someone will be in contact to arrange an appointment with the most appropriate clinician.
If you do not have access to the internet please phone the practice, one of our receptionists will take a few details about your problem or request and then submit a request through Anima on your behalf.
Anima is available to all our patients, and you can use it to ask about your children or other people you care for (if they are registered with us).
That’s it – simple and straightforward!
Please do not use Anima if you have an urgent medical problem. You may consider dialling 111 for an urgent assessment, or visiting a local pharmacist.
We are encouraging everyone who has access to a computer, smart phone or tablet to use Anima
- It saves you time.
- Really ill patients don’t have to wait for urgent slots at the end of surgeries.
- GPs can manage their time more effectively, booking any follow-up appointments you might need.
- It stops the 8am rush for appointments as you can contact the practice at any time, and up to 6pm get a response, and be seen if needed the same day!
