Tony is a Paramedic Practitioner at Cliff House Medical Practice. He started his career in Health Care in 2012 working initially as a volunteer Community First Responder. He carried out this role alongside his full-time job as a member of HM Armed Forces where he served on operation tours of Iraq and Afghanistan in times of conflict. He later went on to join East Midlands Ambulance Service and studied Paramedic Science at Birmingham City University. Tony has vast experience dealing with the most life-threatening illnesses and injuries. He would say his proudest moment at work is delivering a baby in the passenger seat of a car at the side of the road.
Tony will be working closely with the Multidisciplinary teams and assisting with the management of vulnerable patients when they are discharged from Hospital to avoid further admissions where possible. He will also be involved in complex case management.
Tony has keen interests in acute injury and illnesses and will be conducting face to face clinics, home visits, and will be there to answer your requests on the Ask My GP service.
Outside of work Tony is a keen Guitarist and enjoys Hiking.
